Assalamu Alaikum, I'm Mohamed. In 2020 I launched an online eCommerce business selling women's sportswear. Alhamdulillah, over the following years it generated more than £1.5 million in sales.
From the outside it looked like success. But behind the scenes it came with constant pressure — managing stock, delayed shipments, cash flow problems, supplier issues and sleepless nights. I had built a business that made money, but didn't give me the freedom, peace or barakah I was searching for.
I also spent thousands on courses trying to find someone who would simply show me the right way. Most advice was too complicated, lacked support, or wasn't designed with Muslims in mind. So I decided to build something different.
I founded Rizq By Design to help Muslims build simple, halal online businesses by creating and selling digital products using AI — without inventory, shipping, or needing to become a social media influencer. Today, more than 1,400 students learn through step-by-step lessons, a private community and weekly live Q&A.
As a CPD Approved Trainer, my goal isn't unrealistic dreams or "get rich quick" schemes. It's to give you the knowledge, support and confidence to build a business that works around your life, your family and your Islamic values.
